Come along and enjoy Radio Plays with the Blue Mountains Radio Players. Performances are before a live audience, using mainly scripts transcribed from original performances of the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. The repertoire includes plays from such long-running drama series as Suspense, Escape and Quiet Please!; episodes from the comedy series Easy Aces, Baby Snooks and Daddy and Life of Riley; and crimes solved by Sherlock Holmes, Boston Blackie and The Thin Man. Blue Mountains Radio Players have been performing for about 15 years in venues around Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. Inspired by Juliette Palmer-Frederick, the ranks of the Players have included professional and amateur actors, usually about a dozen in number.
